Spectrum was pleased to assist with financing, development and marketing of the new section at St. Johns On The Lake, featuring 88 new residences starting at 1140 square feet. The residences feature expansive open concept floor plans, private terraces, fully-equipped kitchens, full-size washers and dryers and a first floor town center with an art gallery, bistro, fitness center, pool, spa and meeting space.

This is an expansion of a full service community originally built in 1979. The 21 story building will be connected to the existing building. Construction started on October 19, 2009 and is estimated to last 20 months.

Standard residences  range from a large one-bedroom plus den (Berkshire) designed for two people with 1135 square feet to a very large residence (Bristol) with 2 bedrooms, a den and 2 1/2 baths at 1980 square feet. The building also contains six “Signature” and custom designed residences ranging from 1400 to 2800 square feet. All residences have a large Terrace with views of Lake Michigan and many with downtown views.

A not for profit that has been providing housing for seniors for 141 years, Satin John’s offers a traditional (type A) Life Care Guarantee. The addition will include a new art gallery, a bistro, an indoor poor and spa, a wellness center, two floors of underground parking, educational spaces, a new library, a new fitness center with locker rooms, a cultural arts center and out door gardens and spaces.
